Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Japan Box Office Update: Still Top 10 in Week 15—Now #8
The final weekend before New Year’s gave us a fresh shuffle in Japan’s box office Top 10—and two of anime’s biggest titles are still hanging on.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc stays in the Top 10 for 15 straight weekends!
After sitting at #4 last weekend, Reze Arc slipped to #8 for Dec 26–28, but the bigger headline is its staying power: this is its 15th weekend in the Top 10.
Even with the drop, the movie is basically living in theaters at this point. On the all-time rankings list from Kogyo Tsushinsha, Reze Arc is now at 9.95 billion yen total (99.5億円) and sits at #51 on Japan’s historical box office chart.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is still here #10 in Week 24
Also refusing to leave the conversation: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle – Chapter 1: Akaza Returns, which came in at #10 this weekend (down two spots from #8).
Its total is absolutely massive: 38.71 billion yen (387.1億円)—currently listed at #2 all-time on Japan’s all-time box office ranking.
